The Telecommunications Engineer is an individual who applies knowledge of the basic sciences - Physics and Mathematics -, as well as those corresponding to signals, systems, electronics and computing to analyze, design, plan, organize, produce, install, develop, and maintain in operation and manage networks and telecommunications systems, thus contributing to meet the needs of the country and promote development in this area, considering the importance for present and the future.
The Telecom Field Engineer makes use of his knowledge of the physical and mathematical sciences, and engineering techniques to develop his professional activity in various areas, such as optical, satellite, microwave, wired and wireless communication networks, broadcasting systems, systems of radio navigation, as well as the administration, design, construction, operation and maintenance of products and equipment in telecommunications engineering.
In future the telecom engineers will be trained under the system of a professionals, the backbone of the career, which will allow him to put into practice the theory he learns every day. In this way, the engineers will make correct decisions, conceive, analyze, design and apply themselves.
